| Prior to the late '80's Halon was considered the best extinguishing agent for total gaseous fire flooding systems. However serious concerns on the effects on the depletion of the ozane layer led to the total ban of Halons for use in new systems. In many countries within Europe decommissioning became mandatory. This led to a search for new and effective means of alternative extinguishing agents. Understanding that no “one solution” fits all Fire and Security Techniques are able to offer the best fit solution at the most effective price. FST was established in 1994 and has thousands of systems installed protecting risks thoughout the continent of Africa and the Middle East. |
