Fire and Security Techniques is ISO 9001: 2000 approved and operating out of our 400m2 premises in Centurion, located midway between Johannesburg and Pretoria. We are Africa’s largest based specialised supplier of fire suppression solutions. Established in 1994 in response to demise of the ozone depletion Halon, Fire and Security Techniques are now able to offer internationally approved solutions for use in automatic fire suppression systems. We also hold the worldwide distribution rights for the SABS certified Eckoshield © range of suppression equipment and gas. In addition we hold the distribution rights for Africa of the 300 Bar Fireater Inergen.
   
The company is headed by Neil William Hughes. With more than 20 years experience of the specialised fire suppression market, Neil has a solid engineering grounding within the Fire and Security Industry. Neil's ability to work with external engineers on product development and his product knowledge in dealing with specialist overseas partners on best fit industry solutions gives Fire and Security Techniques a vital edge. Neil believes this helps FST's anticipate the needs of our clients which in turn means our clients stay price competitive and abreast with latest solutions.

We distribute our products from Cape to Cairo and have experienced service providers that install, commission and supply service support throughout the continent. We have a dedicated in-house design and support department for our products. In addition we are the manufactures of the DS Series range of Exit Control devices for use in emergency exit and and other control doors.
